1D CFD engineer

About the job
Do you wish to grow as a 1D-CFD Engineer at AFRY together with several of the leading industrial companies in Sweden? You will be working with advanced engineering simulations with focus on fluid mechanics at the leading CFD-group on this matter. The extent and content of the projects varies and are conducted either in-house at our office or on-site of our customers. We are looking for both newly graduates as well as experienced CFD engineers to our Gothenburg office. We see it as desirable if you have experience from any of the following sectors: Automotive, Nuclear/Energy, Industry, Offshore, Process, Food and Pharma. Having experience of working as a consultant is an extra advantage.

Who are you?
You have at least a Master's degree in mechanical, chemical, physical or automotive engineering with emphasis on fluid mechanics and CFD using especially GT-Suite/GT-Power. Within automotive sector following applications are of special interest: cooling systems, climate analysis and batteries.
It is meritorius if you also have experience of 3D-CFD simulations using the pre-processor ANSA and StarCCM+. You should have good knowledge in Swedish and english, both oral and written. As a person are meticulous, ambitious, curios and customer oriented. You appreciate team work and understand the added value of working prestigelessly together to find the best solution for our customers. You have a sense for details and ability to explain complex technical terms to people in your surroundings. You are independent, energetic, used to be self going and are good at communicationg and documenting your work.
