What´s in it for you?
Within Art830, Thermal management we have a great opportunity for you to join our Circuit HW design team as a Lead engineer. You will work in a creative environment and focus on to lead work tasks to meet project requirement within the scrum team. Our mission is to develop systems and components in accordance with Volvo's standards and core values, focusing on safety, design, quality and environment.
As First Design Engineer you will be the key person handling and leading the engineering work in the industrialization phase as well as the maintenance work for the Circuit HW team. The development work is done in close cooperation with Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement and suppliers, hence you can expect many different interfaces to work with. You will be working in a truly global environment with many contact points with stakeholders in China, the US and EU countries.
What will you do?
You will be a member of the Circuit HW scrum team will drive the development work in cross-functional group securing results and deliveries in accordance with time, technology and cost.
You are responsible for the documentation, so that technical solution is described in all applicable systems and ensure the correct structure in the KDP system. You will initiate and assure that corrective actions are carried out when deviations occur and handle issues documented in the Flow/VIRA system.
Do you fit the profile?
We believe that you have an Engineering background to start with, as well as having experience from leading tasks and running the projects. You have been working with external suppliers before and have a good understanding with them, hence good communication and transparency is something that comes naturally to you.
Knowledge and practice in Agile way of working together with Volvo systems like VPC, KDP, TcE, Catia V5, FLOW/VIRA, SharePoint, HPD, Pecca Pro cost is advantageous, as well as previous experience within automotive industry. You need to be fluent in English, spoken and written, and have a driving license “B” valid in Sweden.
