2 x Electrical Design Engineer R&D , Sweden

Background
R&D in Kista needs to increase headcount to have the capacity to develop new products as well as maintain our existing portfolio of products. Our customer tends to ask for more and more configurability and to maintain and develop our offering we need to define, develop and verify what we deliver to keep the good quality that Munters stand for.
Today we can see that configurable units increasing in sales when you make them available true Genesys where you can select between well defined-, tested- and documented options.
Currently the automation team works with support on customer systems, problem solving for our production, development of equipment needed for our production, sales support and product (application) development. Since there is a lot of reactive fire-fighting, only little time can be allocated to proactive development.
Purpose of position
The primary purpose of this position is to strengthen and build the competence inside R&D electrical team in Kista.
To be able to do successful work, the electrical team has to cooperate closely with other functions within Munters such as other R&D colleagues, Product Management, Operations, Sourcing, Service and the Genesys team.


Job description
Your Responsibilities:
Automate, standardize and develop the electrical design of new and existing products
Make macro projects in Eplan Electric P8
Make “typical file” for automation in Eplan EEC One
Programming scripts in Visual Basic
As we have collaboration with other Munters colleagues in other countries you need to be able to mentor, train, and motivate new team members through Eplan integration.



Product scope: Dehumidifiers, humidifiers, PLUS-systems and service products.
Communication skills: fluency in Swedish and English
Educational and experience requirements: University degree in electrical engineering, minimum three years’ relevant work experience.
The ideal candidate would
Be experienced in electrical design and have knowledge in Eplan platform (Electric P8, EECOne and Harness proD)
Have good knowledge about MD, LVD, UL and other applicable legal requirements
Have experience from a machine builder company or similar
Have programming skills in various programming languages (PLC, Visual Basic, C/C++, C# etc)
