2021 Summer Internship - European Markets Intern


The Nasdaq Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants of our Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will get a chance to work on a project along with a mentor, network with senior colleagues, and present your project towards the end of the program. You will also participate in learning and development sessions with diverse topics to help you grow and succeed as you establish your career.


Our Team


The ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) aspects are increasingly important and great focus for all our clients and stakeholders. Within European Markets we have set up a small function to coordinate and drive the ESG related solutions directed to our clients. The offerings primarily relates to market and data products and solutions.


Your Role


The intern role will support the ESG coordination efforts. This can relate both to specific ongoing projects or initiatives as well as analysis of competitors' offerings for instance.


The Ideal Candidate


Is working on completing a degree in Business, Finance or Economics (graduating by 2022)
Has strong verbal and written skills (English)
Has strong analytical skills
Is preferably strong in creating presentation material (MS PowerPoint)


Project Overview


Competitor analysis
ESG Framework and standard analysis (eg. EU Taxonomy, TCFD, SASB etc.)
ESG reporting guide update (including climate reporting and EU taxonomy extension)
Carbon related solutions.
