2021 Summer Internship - NFF Data Services Intern


The Nasdaq Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants of our Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will get a chance to work on a project along with a mentor, network with senior colleagues, and present your project towards the end of the program. You will also participate in learning and development sessions with diverse topics to help you grow and succeed as you establish your career.


Our Team


The Data Services organization is consisting of 3 developer teams working together to build the core functional of our Data Platform, Reference Data and Orchestration products. Each cross-functional team is responsible for all parts of the product development spanning from requirements, development, quality assurance and deployment.


Your Role


The intern will be joining a team in the day to day work, this involves among many other things such as:
Participating in design discussion
Implementing solutions
Writing integration and system tests


The Ideal Candidate


Is working on completing a degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science (graduating by 2022)
Has good development skills, Java and JS are required
Has experience with big data solutions or finance systems
Development skills in C++ is meriting
Experience in building cloud natives solutions (AWS, AZURE) is meriting


Project Overview


Build a dashboard for visualizing trading data.
Build a component for fetching, parsing and ingest data into the data platform.
Extend the capabilities of our ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) library to have native support for Python.
Integrate Jupyter notebook and create an example implementations for customer demos.
