Interning at Nasdaq


The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with an outstanding opportunity to experience a relevant and immersive 10 week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning development opportunities and meet with senior leaders. This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August 2022.


The Team


The European Data & Regulatory Solutions team is responsible for a wide variety of products covering exchange data, regulatory services, ESG and Precious Metals. Our focus is on innovation and delivering new solutions to our customers to help them meet their data needs.


Your Role


You will be assisting the team with our variety of ESG products. Tasks will be varied and a typical day could include speaking to an issuer about their ESG reporting, helping a green bond issuer with their data upload, speaking to ESG data providers or researching the different regulations that affect this space.


Who we are looking for:


Passionate individual looking to start their career in Global HR


Completing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields with an anticipated graduation date after December 2022 until summer of 2023


Has taken relevant courses to ESG and Sustainability


Keen to details and can perform audit review/sweep


Proven team player able to work in a fast paced environment


What would be helpful:


A self-starter with evidence of intellectual curiosity


A critical thinker who exhibits entrepreneurism and problem solving abilities


Energized by a heavy workload and tight deadlines


Able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally


Sample Project:


You will be asked to analyze upcoming ESG regulation to highlight potential opportunities for the data team. You will be asked to present your findings to the rest of the team.
