Interning at Nasdaq


The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with an outstanding opportunity to experience a relevant and immersive 10 week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning development opportunities and meet with senior leaders. This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August 2022.


The Team


The main responsibility of the legal and regulatory team is to advise and support the Nasdaq's stock exchanges and other regulated business in Europe. Topics include business development, general corporate law and corporate governance. The common denominator in all these areas is that the legal team is an appreciated business partner and integral part of the decision making processes.


Your Role


We are looking for a candidate that has an interest in financial services and securities markets law.


Who we are looking for:


Passionate individual looking to start their career in Legal and Regulations


Completing a degree in Law, Legal or related disciplines with an anticipated graduation date after December 2023 until summer of 2024


Ambitious, self-motivated and results oriented with high integrity and excellent communication skills.


What would be helpful:


A self-starter with evidence of intellectual curiosity


A critical thinker who exhibits entrepreneurism and problem solving abilities


Energized by a heavy workload and tight deadlines


Sample Project:


The ambition is that the legal intern will work closely with the legal and regulatory team on a broad spectra of legal matters. In addition, the legal intern will receive a larger project that will span the entire internship period.
