244 - RF Development Engineer

The Test Development department implements the SEMC factory test system, Everest, including instrument drivers and MES (Manufacturing Execution System) support.Test station design, Integration and support will be your focus. Description of duties: You will be responsible for designing RF test stations for our products by integrating existing hardware and software components.You will follow the project through the initial prototype phases and into high volume manufacturing with responsibility for one or more test stations. .Test Station Design through integration of hardware and software components .Quality improvement and optimization .Root Cause Analysis of yield and quality issues .Station design verification and documentation .Cooperation with the test and measurement suppliers .Development of necessary working processes and routines Qualifications: You have a degree in electrical or software engineering or several years of related experience.You have experience with C++/C# using Microsoft development tools, and are comfortable communicating in written and spoken English.Experience from production, industrialization or high volume manufacturing is seen as a merit.Knowledge of GSM/EDGE, UMTS, Wifi, Bluetooth and/or DVB-H radio standards is also considered an asset, but is not necessary.
