Job Description
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is an online, open world, action shooter RPG, set in a collapsing and fractured Washington, D.C. This rich setting combines a wide variety of beautiful, iconic, and realistic environments in which the player gets to experience the series’ trademark fast-paced action, rich RPG systems and dedication to authenticity in world building.
We are looking for an experienced 2D Artist/Illustrator to join our Tom Clancy's The Division 2 project. You'll be responsible to produce 2D visual elements and ensure that the assets created are credible and in line with the art direction. You will work with a team of concept and character artists in collaboration with the Art Producer and the Marketing Team. You will be reporting directly to the Product Director to create high quality assets for the brand.
This is a permanent position based in Malmö Sweden, with the opportunity to work partially from home according to our Flexible Workplace Policy. Please apply in English (our company language), and we’ll check your application asap!
What you’ll do
Participating in the production of graphic assets (in-game & marketing use)
Making sure that the graphic elements follow the style determined by the Art Director and maintain it throughout the whole project.
Coordinating and working with the team to create high quality 2D assets
Qualifications
What you’ll bring
You are enthusiastic about 2D art and gaming, especially story-driven open-world games. You are comfortable working and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team and with tight deadlines. You have good communication skills, being open to feedback and give constructive feedback to peers having the shared goal in mind.
Relevant degree in an Art/Design field or equivalent work experience
A relevant portfolio of artwork (including 2D Art)
· Solid knowledge of color theory, light, and tones
Solid knowledge of shape design, composition and forms
Skilled knowledge of Photoshop (especially Pen tool and vectoring process using vector masks) and basic knowledge of 3D modelling and texturing)
