3D Artist

Founded in 2017 and based in Gothenburg, Sweden, Hiber is building a universally accessible web-first, no-code, free-to-use platform called HiberWorld that removes all the barriers to entry for everyone to create, play, and participate in the Metaverse. HiberWorld already supports millions of interconnected virtual worlds, features a proprietary next generation 3D engine and is incorporating Web3 technology to support digital ownership and interoperability.

Our company has grown from a handful of people in the early days to around 70 dedicated and extremely talented Hiberians today. We are currently looking to find a 3D artist to join us in our journey!

About the Job:

We offer you a role in our Art Team, a creative and collaborative team, together you will create 3D props and characters for Hiber platform, from initial modelling to final texturing. You will work with other departments and to iterate and adjust models in accordance with our needs, both from an artistically such as a gameplay perspective.

Your responsibilities:

- Create 3d models and retopology for low poly
- Create mid to low poly topology for animation purposes
- Contribute to the development of the character art pipeline


Wish list:

- Experience in digital sculpting, modelling, UV mapping, texturing
- Understanding of shading, lighting, structure, texturing and silhouette
- Ability to take simple 2D sketch to fully realised 3D model
- Ability to work from reference materials such as photography or concept art
- Experience of creating animated characters
- Strong technical skills, knowledge of industry-standard software
