3D Artist - Architectural visualization at IKEA Marketing & Communications

Job Description
As an Artist in our 3D Artist Competence team, you will combine 3D, creativity and technology to produce high quality CGI content while exploring new ways to minimize production time and costs. You will be working on a broad scope of projects and in various project teams, delivering high quality communication content that will inspire and engage the end-consumer and enhance the IKEA offer.
Examples of responsibilities in this role are:
Deliver high quality 3D content in time, but also consciously balance quality, time and cost.
Understand the project requirements, conceptualizing creative ideas and support in the development of storyboards and concepts.
Build interior architecture, populate and fine-tune the scene, with the main focus on lighting and composition.
Keep up to date with trends within the industry, as well as new tools, techniques, and software.
Work proactively to build good relationships within project teams and collaborate effectively with other competences as for example Interior Designers, Art Directors and Producers across the production workflow.
Find new CGI opportunities enabled by 3D.
Qualifications
Our 3D Artists are people with an eye for details and passion for action, speed, processes, and creativity!
You'll need:
5+ years working experience in architectural visualization, 3D, or relevant area.
Strong in animation
Fluent in 3ds Max and V-Ray
Solid understanding of game engines (Unreal, Unity), and real-time assets
Strong in Marvelous Designer, Forest Pack, Phoenix or similar
Strong in compositing using Photoshop, Nuke and/or After Effects
Excellent creativity and artistic skills. An eye for light, composition, and realism.
Ability to adopt and adapt rapidly to new or changing technology.
The ability to work well in a team, communicate and be proactive.
Willingness to give and take feedback.
Be organized, structured and have the ability to self-manage.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
