As a 3D Artist you will create high-quality assets for PC and consoles. You are expected to take your assets all the way from conceptual mockups, to modeling and texturing, to final placement in the environment.

Your contributions
As a 3D Artist at Arrowhead you will be:

- Creating art assets based on input from Leads, Directors and Designers;

- Bring art assets up to our top of the line, AAA-standards;

- Ensuring the functionality of your assets, such as setup of destruction, and optimization to meet technical requirements;

- Working closely with creative Leads the and Concept Artists to maintain a consistent world and support the direction of the game.

Being kickass and hardworking at Arrowhead means being able to handle deadlines and taking personal responsibility to finish tasks in a timely manner. Having an agile mindset will also be necessary as priorities will change with iteration on the project.

Our requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience working in the games industry;
- Strong skills in 3D modeling and texturing, with an understanding of technical constraints and pipeline, and how it affects asset creation;
- Experience creating art for AAA-level game projects;
- Strong proficiency with Maya or similar current 3D modelling software;
- Understanding of PBR workflows;
- Good collaboration and communication skills to work well with other departments;

- Good English communication skills (verbal and written).


Bonus qualifications
- Experience as a lead or senior artist on previous game projects;
- Good knowledge with additional industry standard art packages such as Z-Brush, Substance and Modo;
- Level Design and Scripting experience is a big plus;
- Completed side projects such as indie-titles, mods or equivalent;
- Programming skills;
- A visionary mindset when it comes to exploring game systems and architecture.


Practical information
Scope: Full-time: 40 hours per week. We offer a permanent position and relocation aid for the right candidate.

Location: Stockholm
