Job Description
Are you an experienced 3D Solution Architect who has previously worked in the field of 3D Digital Product Creation? As a 3D Solution Architect, you will work within our 3D Product Development team. Here you will play a leading role in technical development and architecture and have the chance to build new experiences, improve existing products and be a driver in transforming our tech landscape. You will have a decisive impact on how we shape the future of fashion as well as set new standards for how the industry works with sustainability.
Responsibilities
You will be a part of a global cross functional agile 3D Product Development team of amazing professionals working with a range of end-to-end solutions from bespoke 3D asset pipeline to COTS solutions, establishing a holistic view of how the solution adds value to the business. Therefore, we believe you could apply leading software development practices and present alternative solutions and technical choices. You will also support junior developers through best practices for the full software development life cycle. Some of your daily work includes:
Design, develop and support the solutions within the 3D Digital Product Creation scope.
Translate strategies and requirements into modern and scalable solution designs.
Use an experimental mindset to identify, evaluate and recommend alternative designs.
Collaborate with other product teams to help, and to provide the best end-user experience.
Seek opportunities to automate, document and improve processes.
Who are you?
We believe you have previous experience as a Solution Architect and have worked with Cloud (preferrable GCP), CI/CD, streaming platforms, containerization and test automation. We think you have the basic knowledge in numerical mathematics and computer graphic (rendering/geometry processing/data structures). As a Solution Architect we see that you have a curious mindset, excellent communication skills, and are a great team player. We also believe you have:
Experience in VFX or game or Fashion industry with a focus on pipeline engineering / configuration
Experience in leadership and managing tech team
Experience in working with Render manager (Similar to AWS Deadline)
Knowledge of CosmosDB, C#, SQL
Prior work experience with databases and web stack (rest APIs, Elastic Search)
It is also qualifying if you have understanding of fashion industry product development process, knowledge of 3D workflows/processes and working experience and plugin development in at least one 3D tool (preferably Blender or Substance).
