3rd Party Distribution Specialist Scandic Hotels

Scandic is now looking to grow our central 3rd party distribution team to assist our hotels and the Distribution Development Manager in broadening our focus and scope within current and potential distribution partners.

We work with the largest travel platforms in the world and they form an integral part of our overall distribution strategy. You will be working as part of a small team with establishing best in class practices with our various partners to maximise Scandic revenue.

Responsibilities:

• Work on identifying and piloting new initiatives on channels which can generate additional revenues
• Aggregate, record and report performance data of these initiates based on prior agreed KPIs
• Aggregate, interpret and maintain performance data, trends’ analysis and market behavior
• Acting as escalation point for hotels, internal teams and OTA partners
• Create and communicate hotel-level compliance guides, initiatives, and training material
• Oversee process-improvement projects to increase execution efficiency with both internal and external stakeholders
• Monitoring channels, ensuring hotel and partner compliance with Scandic’s distribution initiatives in all applicable distribution channels including but not limited to Global Distribution Systems (GDS), META channels, Online Travel Agents (OTA) and Scandic Web.
• Work on identifying and implementing efficiencies that save time and money or generate additional revenues
• Assist hotels and channel partners with loading ad-hoc, seasonal promotions and monitor, record, report performance

What are we looking for?

• Relevant professional experience within hospitality, distribution or revenue management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including advanced Excel functions and Power BI
• Critical thinking and both quantitative and qualitative analytics skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to creatively identify the strengths/weaknesses of alternative and differentiated solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal communication, to explain complex issues in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to develop and maintain a deep understanding of Scandic’s business processes and systems as they relate to Revenue Management and Distribution across our markets
