Established in 2001 by Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson and Sony Corporation, the joint venture continues to build on the success of its two innovative parent companies.Sony Ericsson creates value for its operator customers by bringing new ways of using multimedia communications while mobile.The company has approximately 5,000 employees across the globe working on research, development, design, sales, marketing, distribution and support.Sony Ericsson is thanks to the success on the market going through a phase of expansion.We are looking for a Long Term Planner to join our new Long Term Planning Function in Lund.Description of duties: You will be the key player that creates and manages Long Term plans (2-3 years out) for Sony Ericsson GSM phones.Your task will be to align with customer data, market information, sales demand, product portfolio planning and manufacturing strategy in order to present a Long Term Plan containing planned production and sales figures.Main tasks: . Continue to fine tune the process for creating Long Term plans . Drive the implementation of the process . Set up interfaces with the different in/output areas .Drive factory allocation and balancing . Provide decision material for manufacturing strategy decisions . Provide organization with plans that will enable correct decisions regarding factory placement, new factory starts and supplier localization..Bridge the gap between raw sales demand and financial budget using statistical inputs in order to drive one long term plan in the organization. Qualifications: For the ideal candidate: We expect you to have a university degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or other suitable areas of study.Planning, supply chain management and/or manufacturing experience in a mid to large company required.Must have worked in a dynamic, high volume environment with a background in statistical modeling.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must.We expect you to be open-minded, flexible, meticulous, and be used to taking initiative as well as being comfortable assuming ownership and driving actions to a close.This is a new formed function within the Global Supply Chain Planning group and will require the ability to develop and implement processes.Fluency in the English language, written and spoken, as well as proficiency in Excel and other Windows based programs is mandatory.Previous experience working with SAP APO/R3 is a huge advantage.
