The Supplier Quality department at Sony Ericsson is responsible for securing quality on components and approving our supplier's processes and quality systems. We are looking for a quality engineer with a thorough experience of mechanics, plastic moulding experience is meriting and who has a good knowledge of Quality Methodology and Management. As a quality engineer you will be working with securing the quality of parts from our suppliers by controlling the quality planning of their production processes and products. This includes both quality methodology (audits, risk analyses, capability studies and process controls) as well as evaluating logistics, environmental management, project management and production capacity. You will be the driving force to secure that Sony Ericsson's own designs are able to produce in high volumes with our supplier's production processes. Production or R/D based experience is highly appreciated, as well as experience of project management. The position requires international travelling, mainly to Asia. For this position we require that you have an academic degree, probably MSc. Additional courses in quality management and practical experience is meriting. It is a prerequisite that you can use English both verbally and written. Knowledge of other languages is meriting.
