Temporary position, Start date ASAP End date 2007-06-30 Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB offers mobile communication products for people who appreciate the possibilities of powerful technology.Established in 2001 by Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson and Sony Corporation, the joint venture continues to build on the success of its two innovative parent companies.Sony Ericsson creates value for its operator customers by bringing new ways of using multimedia communications while mobile.The company has approximately 5,000 employees across the globe working on research, development, design, sales, marketing, distribution and support.Sony Ericsson is thanks to the success on the market going through a phase of expansion.The main task with in the Delivery Planning Team is to execute the monthly business plan regarding volume targets.This involves balancing of supply and demand on the level of customer, week and volume.The time horizon in which the Delivery Planning Team is working is current month plus two.Description of duties: The Delivery planner has a global responsibility for his/her assigned products and should monitoring and secure that all regions meets the agreed sales targets.In order to make this happened the Delivery planner has a great number of key interfaces, Sales and marketing for forecasting, Product management and the project for product status, Sourcing and factories for capacity and material availability.The delivery planner should prepare the supply chain for customer orders and secure execution in accordance with customer expectation.Key areas of responsibility; . Focus meeting coordinator/owner . KPI ownership . Escalation point . Forecasting . Volume execution/global optimization Qualifications: .University degree is mandatory unless previous experience clearly indicates competence and knowledge of similar line of work. .Earlier experience from working with in Supply chain operation will be seen as a valuable merit..The position as a Delivery Planner requires good communication skills, as well as willingness of assuming ownership of and driving/following up actions until issues addressed are solved.Last day to apply: 2006/05/28
