About this opportunity
We are part of Product Development Unit (PDU) Baseband Software, and we drive 5G NR (New Radio) end-to-end baseband software product development. The competence and capability of our people is our main asset as we take on full responsibility of developing new 5G features and functionality.
Based in Kista, Stockholm we are proud to own the New Radio Multi Standard Radio Base Station (NR MSRBS) baseband products and to be responsible for all product development planning and maintenance. We are responsible to systemize, design, implement and integrate software features to control the air interface in the 5G Radio Access Network.
The UPC (User Plane Control) SW product is one of the key components in 5G and a vital part of the MSRBS, and we are now looking for a SW developer to join our UPC Domain team.
What you will do
Implement features, product improvements and architecture changes
Propose and drive innovation in the UPC area.
Prototyping UPC solutions and mastering UPC domain test strategy/techniques
Product documentation
Troubleshooting, handling TRs and escalations
Work with design environment and quality assurance techniques
You will bring
A degree in a technical area or the equivalent level of knowledge.
Experience in Software development with programming skills in embedded C, C/C++
Ability to take ownership of your work and willingness to learn
High curiosity about SW craftsmanship
Any of the below would be a plus:
Programming skills in Python
Knowledge in 5G and LTE (4G) standards (3GPP)
Knowledge of 3GPP standards L1 & L2
Multi Core processor programming knowledge
