5G Core Solution - Test Environment Solution Architect (690875)

About this opportunity
Solutions is a new unit in Solution Area Packet Core established to strengthen a network wide focus having accountability for the 5G Core System evolution. We will drive technology evolution plans, define network capabilities and 5GC network reference designs with objective to simplify global deployments of 5G systems for mobile broadband, enterprise and critically important services. Through our mission, to build cost efficient and high quality 5GC solutions, we contribute to Ericsson having the most competitive 5G Core offering on the market.
We are now searching for an energizing and compassionate colleague to our team of system designers that can help in shaping our organization and the 5GC solution.

What you will do
Work as Solution Architect responsible for the Test Environment executing 5G core system verification activities.
Own and maintain IP/VLAN plans, Router/Switch configuration, Traffic simulators/Test tools, Test Environment documentation and processes.
Drive alignment and automation of Test Environment readiness for the system verification team to perform 5G core system verification.
Implement new functions and features required in the Test Environment to secure cost efficient system verification of the 5G core evolution.


You will bring
Structure and the ability to see the big picture and seek alignment by leading others.
Good knowledge in IP networking (Routing & Switching).
Good knowledge in Linux environments.
Experience in data center automation related to installation and configuration management.
Experience in OpenStack, Kubernetes and/or other data center virtualization technologies is beneficial but not required.
Experience of EPC/5GC will be considered as a bonus.
