Our Exciting Opportunity
We are an outstanding department, developing products and solutions for the Ericsson 5G Cloud Core – one packet core for all accesses and services. What we do is vital to accelerate the digital transformation, building our networked society where everyone and everything that can be connected, will be connected.
The Solutions Development Engineer will focus on 5G End-2-End Integration, Verification and Deployment. An outstanding activity in the process to ensure the quality of our products. We take new 5G features and test them in a network consisting of core products, radio and mobiles. You will have the possibility to build a broad competence in our products as well as the functionality of basically a complete mobile network!
You will
Work in small teams, planning jobs together and share the progress and result in a Kanban-like approach to the workflow
Contribute to troubleshooting in Linux environments and work with TCP/IP networking with tools like Wireshark, etc.
To be successful in the role you must have
Bachelor's degree or proven experience with curiosity about new technologies, design thinking, innovation and seek to invent and impact
In-depth understanding and experience of integration and verification (NIV, ST, FT) including test tools (Dallas and other)
Good knowledge of 5G Core, Cloud, Computer Networks and ISDN Systems (CNIS) and experience from Troubleshooting, in different environments (Linux, UNIX etc.)
