Huawei Sweden is looking for 5G Internship Candidates
You will be part of one of our research teams, responsible for generating and evaluating innovative ideas for next generation 5G radio networks, base stations and associated technologies and solutions. Everyone in the team has at least a Masters degree and many have a PhD degree, coupled with many years’ experience to form a vibrant and dynamic work environment.
We work with the latest technologies and solutions where you will be given a certain study or analysis task. The analysis normally consists of simulations and/or associated theoretical / mathematical studies related to 5G key technologies for the Radio Access Network. It could be Layer 1 related functionality or more higher layer network related aspects that needs to be analyzed. Of particular interest are applications of Reinforcement Learning techniques for energy management in Radio Access Networks
The candidate should have an M.Sc or Ph.D in Electrical Engineering / Communications Systems. Experience from Python programming is crucial and some experience with mobile communications systems, e.g. 4G/LTE, is preferred but not mandatory. You should be eager to learn and have the capability to work both independently as well as in the team.
We can offer an internship in this area that is expected to run 3-6 months starting from July 1, 2021. We are located in Kista, Stockholm, 10 minutes walk from subway and commuter train stations.
