Our Exciting Opportunity

Development Services and Infrastructure (DSI) Simulators is responsible for providing test tools to the Product Development Units (PDUs). Ericsson is crafting the 5G future, and we are making it possible! We are now looking for dedicated system developers for a position based in Linköping, Sweden.

We are working together in teams spread internationally on different continents, developing simulators and log analysis tools. Continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge exchange are important ingredients in the daily work.


You will

Be part of an organization that implements test tool solutions in a 5G and Multi-Standard environment
Have a possibility to drive innovation and make new insights reality
Coordinate, follow up and report the progress regarding studies in the program
Raise impediments regarding studies as well as actively write and review studies



To be successful in the role you must have

A spirit of positiveness and creativeness with a can-do-attitude
A forward-thinking and curious approach to be able to seek various assignments, acting as a leader and coordinator in a technical role.
A holistic view and an ability to bridge between different roles, such as Developers and Test Coordinators to secure flow optimization in the organization
The social skills to cooperate closely in a diverse team of colleagues
MSc or BSc level in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent level of knowledge
The ability to ensure that processes are followed for the scope of the assignment, as well as to write high-performing, maintainable code in a high-level language. We don’t require Erlang competence, but previous experience is qualifying
Several years of experience in product development, preferably in Continuous Analysis (CA)
Good knowledge within Telecom and real-time systems, preferably 4G and 5G
Experience in using and/or crafting 4G/5G traffic test tools (qualifying)
Excellent speaking and writing skills in English
