Our Exciting Opportunity
Development Services and Infrastructure (DSI) Simulators are responsible for providing test tools to the Product Development Units (PDUs). Ericsson is crafting the 5G future, and we are making it possible! We are now looking for hardworking developers to join our teams based in Linköping, Sweden.
We are working together in teams spread internationally on different continents, developing simulators and log analysis tools. Continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge exchange are important ingredients in the daily work. Empathy and humanness are important to us, and we encourage a speak up environment!
You will
Be a part of a team that implements test tool solutions in a 5G and Multi-Standard environment
Have the possibility to drive innovation and make new insights reality
Get the opportunity to work with everything needed in a team: analysis, system design, implementation in small increments and ensuring short feedback loops
To be successful in the role you must have
A spirit of positiveness and creativeness with a can-do-attitude
The skills to be ready to explore new opportunities as well as continuously learn and improve together with the team and really enjoy coding
The social skills to cooperate closely in a diverse team of colleagues
MSc or BSc level in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent level of knowledge
Ability to write high-performance, maintainable code in e.g. C/C++ or Java. Knowledge in functional languages such as Erlang or Lisp is qualifying
Some knowledge within Telecom and real-time systems and be interested in Linux and Cloud (e.g. virtualization and scaling) solutions
Excellent speaking and writing skills in English
