ABB's Robotics & Discrete Automation business is writing the future of flexible factory and smart machines by providing value-added solutions in robotics, machine and factory automation. Business Line Robotics Automotive provides the Swedish market with industrial robots through channel partners and direct sales. The area of responsibility for this controller role is for a Global Solution center managed by the Automotive business line, providing customers with spot welding applications worldwide.
As part of our team you will primarily deal with project controlling and financial analysis. The position will offer variation, a most competent team and an exciting international workplace. This is great possibility and chance for you to join a truly unique journey ahead.
Your responsibilities
In this role you will be involved in budgeting, forecasting, project follow up as well as investment and business case analysis.
Have joint responsibility with the Project Manager for all Financial aspects of the project including Estimate at completion and related Cost-to-complete, forecasted Revenues and Cash Flow, Risks and opportunities assessment and ensure alignment with other functions including Project Controls, planning/scheduling.
Support the Project Manager in coordinating and preparing monthly project reviews. Participates in preparing the project cost report.
Participate in opportunity/risk identification, monitor that all required mitigation actions are timely implemented.
As our new Project Project Business Controller, you will be a part of a controlling team with responsibility for financial planning, analysis and reporting.
You will also be responsible for identifying and taking necessary actions to secure future growth and profitability.
You will work in close interaction with local and global management, with whom you will establish a financial and controlling partnership and support during development and implementation of global strategic initiatives.
The controlling team supports the entire value chain of the robot manufacturing, from sourcing to delivery.

Your background
To be successful in this position, we believe you have a master’s degree within Finance or equivalent education and experience from both accounting and business controlling.

As a business partner a solid business understanding is a basic requirement.
It is key that you have a strategic mindset and have a pragmatic way of addressing every challenge you encounter.
You have great communication, social and networking skills.
Experience from project controlling and knowledge in SAP is a plus.
You are proficient in English.
