We are looking for a Senior R&D Engineer. In this role, you will use your technical knowledge to oversee development tasks and to contribute to strategic technology plans and the project portfolio.

The role reports to R&D Sub-Site Manager Mechanics.
Your responsibilities
You will be involved in complex robot design and engineering, focusing on product improvement of existing products within moving cable harness area.
Within product improvement you will encounter problem solving, prototype development and validation before implementation of improvements.
You will be required to constantly focus on making our solutions quality assured and cost-efficient with L6S as tool of success.
As mechanical design engineer, you will use Solid works and document your work in our PLM system and issue database.
You will work closely with people not only within the global R&D organization but also with other parts of the organization such as production, supply unit, customer support.
Your background
B.Sc or M.Sc. in Mechanical/Mechatronic engineering or equivalent.
Solid knowledge of mechanical engineering and deep interest of problem solving with a natural drive.
Extensive knowledge within cable harness design or movable structural design.
Experienced with tools like Solid Works or similar.
Minimum 5-6 years of work experience.
Fluent in English is a requirement, written and spoken alike. Swedish is preferable but not a must.
You are a highly self motivated, curious, driven and collaborative person.
