The International English School in Sigtuna is looking for a driven and goal-focused Academic Manager to work full time with the school's management team from August 2021. IES Sigtuna will be a primary school from Kindergarten to Grade 9. As Academic Manager, you will work closely with the principal and a management team. You will focus on ensuring the quality of students' education. Responsibility To effectively organize and lead the educational activities at the school, which includes planning the school's work within the curriculum and implementing policies and routines To ensure high quality in teaching, learning and assessment and to support teachers in their professional development
To support employees and students to set and achieve their goals To lead and coordinate subject leaders (HoD) and teachers' activities and initiatives To support the principal in the school's systematic quality work To support the principal and IES head office in other initiatives concerning the content and quality of education Ensure the implementation of IES 'vision, ethos and values Qualified teacher from abroad or from Sweden. If from abroad, completed teacher training. If from Sweden, teacher ID.
