We are looking for an Account Manager for the Scientific and Medical Research segment to grow our business in the EMEA region. Come join Tobii and inspire our customers to embrace eye tracking as a research tool!
As our new Account Manager you will be responsible for the sales of our world leading eye tracking technology solutions and services to academic and medical / non-profit institutions in the BeNeLux region. With a primary focus to offer unique, value adding research opportunities to new clients within the BeNeLux market with the goal to intergrade eye tracking into their research methodologies.
The role and responsibilities
As our new Account Manager you will have a vital role as you are the first impression to our customers by representing Tobii's portfolio of eye tracking research tools. One of our largest customer groups within the Scientific and Medical Research segment are universities and researchers and it's important for us to make sure that they will be successful and know how best to implement eye tracking tools to their work. Therefore, it's crucial that you understand our customers and translate their needs into matching research solutions!
You will take care of the entire sales cycle, from first contact to establishing long-term client relationships. The first step in the process will be to close business opportunities and to make our customers be successful in their research studies. We also want you to share our innovative products with the public at trade shows and conferences – both onsite and online.
You will work together with Account Managers spread over the EMEA region as well as with Sales Operations and Marketing based in Stockholm, Sweden. You will report to the Sales Director for Tobii Technology GmbH in Frankfurt and be able to work from home, based in Germany or France as well as at the office in Frankfurt am Main. We would also love to hear from colleagues that would work from our Stockholm or Reading offices.
We are looking for someone who has
Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g. Psychology, Neuroscience, Business Studies, Computer Science, other behavioral sciences) or 3+ years of sales experience in the medical and/or scientific field
Sales experience with market knowledge
Strong interpersonal skills
Character traits like structured, organized, and driven
Excellent English and French, Dutch or Flemish language skills are preferred; German skills are a plus.

We find it to be a strong merit if you have worked with B2B sales, Salesforce, and have experience in selling into or working with universities, non-profits or government entities, alternatively FMCG companies. If you are also familiar with eye tracking from ether university or work we find that very exciting! If the idea of work travel sounds like fun, then this might be the opportunity for you!
