As an Account Manager you will be part of Hitachi Energy, Grid Automation – Automation & Communication Product in Västerås. We are responsible for the development of protection and control products for power generation, transmission, and sub-transmission network applications. We are offering a complete portfolio of world-class products for Digital substation solutions. 
The key to succeed in this role is to have good collaboration skills and open-minded approach. You are helping us to create and hold the best customer-business relationships by bringing the high value to all our clients from closer and further countries. We welcome you in a team of three with good work ethics, support, and great team spirit.
Your responsibilities
Formulate competitive bids/ estimates/ quotes for Products tenders, frame agreements and/or Service contracts in collaboration with Area Sales Managers/ Key Account Managers
Manage the preparation of full cost calculation, forecasting, and manage opportunities pipeline
Support the customer in technical and commercial requests in a timely manner and with appropriate level of detail, and high quality
Analyze customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provided by the Sales organization
Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand the key business drives of the relevant customer´s business and business environment and interpret the impact and opportunity for Hitachi Energy
Review and approve the price and margin of quotations.
Identify potential risks in the bids, quotations, estimates, and in any related contract or Frame Agreement
Define and propose sales targets for the assigned accounts and ensures their achievement with a structured follow up process across business units and Countries.
Create an added value for the customer and Hitachi Energy by ensuring a coordinated sales approach

Your background
You have relevant experience in sales and/ or account management preferably within electric utility sector
Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Sales and/or Marketing are preferred. However, other disciplines will be considered with proven relevant account management aptitude.
Sound knowledge in Protection & Control products & Substation Automation Systems is preferable but not mandatory.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills both verbal and written as well as good negotiation & influencing skills
You have a strong customer relationship skills and business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
Flexibility and interest in working within an international team
Fluency in English, written and spoken. Other language skills are considered a plus
