Your role:
The purpose of the job is to develop sales of the assigned portfolio in the Nordics to achieve quarterly and annual targets, through remote selling activities. As an account manager you will perform among others the developing and execution of a yearly territory plan aiming to drive growth in the territory, building and maintaining relationships with the assigned customers and performing proactive outbound telephone calls and visits. You will attend exhibitions and do customer visits occasionally. You will identify and develop new sales opportunities and drive commercial actions aiming to convert them to sales. You will promote and introduce to customers the Life Science portfolio, in cooperation with the field sales specialists where necessary. You will report the calls and opportunities in the relevant CRM (SFDC) and manage and update the records. You will send and follow up quotes, contracts & tenders. You will implement promotional campaigns at the accounts in the assigned territory, in line with the segment focus topics and marketing plans and maintain detailed customer records to ensure that the relevant mailing list and database reflects this information. You will support forecasting, contribute to new product development, and collaborate with field marketing, field sales specialists, and customer excellence teams to ensure the best service to customers and optimize growth opportunities for the business.
Who you are:
Preferably experienced in a sales role
Some scientific background is necessary to quickly acquire good knowledge of the products and applications.
