We are now looking for an Account Manager & Business Development for our Original Equipment (OE) Division.

Dina arbetsuppgifter
As Account Manager for the Scandinavian market (~75% of your time), you are responsible for driving and develop the business, sales of products and solutions to manufacturers within automotive, trucks, buses, motorbikes, snowmobiles, and other type of manufacturers of machines and equipment that require battery charging.

You are expected to identify new customers and support and maintain existing customers. Electrification is happening right now in many different segments, not only in the Automotive segment. Need for EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) is increasing and EVSE is an important area for future growth of CTEK. Identify and secure new businesses within EVSE and electrification will be your top priority.

Within the Business Development, European market part (~25% of your time) you are expected to lead and drive the process for identify target customers, segments, and applications within CTEK product group Integrated Solutions. Market mapping and propose go-to-market approaches will be an important part in this role. Over time, you will be the Integrated Solutions expert and champion within the sales team.

Business Development is a cross function, for Scandinavia and other European countries. This means you will work very close with Account Managers responsible for their territory within the European market.

This position requires frequent travelling within Scandinavian countries and other European countries. This means you must be willing to travel at least 50% of your time. You are expected to participate in relevant seminars and exhibitions and participate in CTEK marketing events. You are also expected to be at our HQ on regular basis when needed.

You will be part of the global CTEK OE Team, and you are based in Sweden from your home office.


Din profil
You have minimum 5 years of experience within technical sales with proven track record and you understand technical solutions, see opportunities, and translate this into a feasible solution for the customer. You can operate and use Microsoft Office without any problems, and you have experience from working in CRM system. Experience from international sales and a technical background and experience from Automotive industry is a plus.

You have a natural way of communication, and you speak, read, and write Swedish and English without any problems. If you speak a third language like German, French, Italian or Spanish is also a plus.

To be successful in this position, you need to be service minded with a genuine interest to understand your customer’s requirements and propose suitable solutions. You are also committed, proactive, like to cooperate and support colleagues and you have a strong business acumen with high sense of responsibility.
