About the position

In the role as Account Manager you will be responsible for driving sales in a region of Europe where Germany and Austria, and The Netherlands are our main markets. You will represent our whole product portfolio, ranging from assays to instrumentation.

Daily work will constitute of direct communication with our customers, developing cross-sale and up-sale, attending scientific conferences and events in your designated territory and being a great co-worker. Work requires great knowledge within immunology to help our customers within academia and the life science industry getting the most out of their immunoassays. You will become part of a team of specialists with the passion for enabling research. We see ourselves as communicators who help our customers to success, every day.

Responsibilities
• Account management and customer support.
• Develop deep understanding of customer needs and product fit.
• Identify and execute cross-sale and up-sale opportunities.
• Communication of marketing and technical product information.
• Business development and pro-active sales activities.
• Maintain strong customer relationships with existing customer base.
• Establishing new customer relations.
• Attend trade fairs, scientific congresses, and site visits in the defined territory.

About you

We believe that you have knowledge within the field of immunology and is fluent in German. You understand and can engage in technical dialogue with our customers. You are a social and curious individual.

Qualifications
• MSc or PhD in immunology, cell biology or equivalent.
• Availability for travelling at least 5-6 weeks/year.
• Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
• Oral presentation skills.
