Scientific background and business minded? Mabtech keeps growing and we’re now on the lookout for an Account Manager with responsibility for driving sales in the Mediterranean region. You will be part of a team sharing an enthusiasm for biomedical research and science, particularly in the field of immunology.

About the position
Your responsibility will be to grow the business in the Mediterranean market where Spain, Portugal and Italy are today’s main countries. You will represent our whole product portfolio, from assays to instrumentation.

Daily work will constitute of direct communication with our customers, developing cross-sale, attending scientific conferences and events in your designated territory and being a great co-worker. As an Account Manager you will be part of a sales team consisting of specialists with the passion for enabling research. We see ourselves as communicators who help our customers to success, every day.

Responsibilities
• Account management and customer support.
• Communication of marketing and technical product information.
• Business development and pro-active sales activities.
• Maintain strong customer relationships with existing customer base.
• Establishing new customer relations.
• Book, arrange and attend trade fairs, scientific congresses, and site visits in the defined territory.
• Monitor the market, competitors, and new technologies being developed.

About you
We believe that you have knowledge within the field of immunology and is fluent in Spanish. You understand and can engage in dialogue with our customers (we do not sell phones, we enable research).

Qualifications
• PhD in immunology, cell biology or equivalent (other levels of scientific education may be considered)
• Availability for travelling at least 5-6 weeks/year
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
• Open and friendly attitude
• Oral presentation skills
