Hedin Parts and Logistics (HPL) is a part of Hedin Mobility Group (HMG). Our mission is to be their global distributor of spare parts and accessories for the entire Hedin Mobility Group with retail brands spread across Europe. Our mission starts from our 55 000 m2 facility in Nyköping but also include current sites and future expansion within Europe.


Therefore, we are now looking for an engaging Accontant to take on this exciting position at Hedin Parts and Logistics in Nyköping, Sweden.

Job description


The position as Accountant will have a strong connection to everything we do at Hedin Parts and Logistics. You are a strong contributor to securing the company's financial statement and you have full responsibility for your own area within accounting. You will work closely with your colleagues in the accounting team, a prestigeless team with five colleagues and an experienced Head of Accounting. As part of HPL, you will be part of an exciting growth journey characterized by a dynamic environment and positive team spirit.


Your main tasks and deliveries: 


- General accounting and financial reporting


- Account reconciliations


- Balance sheet reconciliation and analysis


- Inventory accounting


- Preparation of documentation for VAT and tax returns in Sweden and other countries where the parent company is VAT registered.


- Involved in creating annual reports for group companies 


- Contribute to continuous improvements of the internal accounting processes


 


Who are you?


We are looking for someone who has a passion for accounting and you are in your early career as an accounting professional. You have few years of experience either from an accounting firm or from a similar position in another company. You have solid knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and you can easily familiarize yourself with new systems. Experience from Microsoft Dynamics F&O will be a merit, as will experience from inventory accounting. You are fluent in Swedish and are comfortable in working in English, as the work involves a number of international contacts.


As a person, you are curious, driven and have a desire to develop yourself, your work tasks and your colleagues. Furthermore, you are a team-player that is solution-oriented and have a can-do attitude which will overcome all hurdles, not only for you but the whole team.
