In Accounting you are part of a team of currently three colleagues. The Accounting team is part of Group Accounting and is responsible for the financial accounting and reporting for a large Swedish key entity in the Polestar Group. In this role you will cooperate with colleagues in other business units worldwide to secure accurate and timely closings and reporting. You will be involved in the development of Polestar’s future finance and be a good advisor and speaking partner on matters related to accounting and reporting.

This position is located at our HQ, in Gothenburg.

What you'll do

- Preparation and coordination of monthly financial closings in SAP
- Reporting in consolidation system AARO
- Preparation of account reconciliations
- Improve efficiency in monthly closing process
- Review and analyze monthly financial reporting
- Preparation of Annual Report and Quarterly Reports
- Involved in implementation of future finance accounting tools
- Extensive contact with subsidiaries and shared service center’s
- Legislated reporting to authorities
- And other tasks typical in an accounting department

Who you are

To be a great fit for this position we believe you have:

- University degree in Finance
- At a minimum 5 - 10 years relevant experience from similar tasks at an Accounting Department
- Strong IFRS and K3 accounting knowledge
- Strong experience in Excel
- Strong analytical skills
- Experienced user of Finance Systems
- User experience in SAP ECC and SAP S/4 and consolidation tool AARO is an additional bonus
- You may have previously worked either at subsidiary level or at group level.
