Accountant for Renewable Energy Solutions

As our Accountant, you will manage a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes. From daily accounting to payroll management, you’ll support the business by providing key insights and maintaining accuracy. You’ll work closely with the Swedish team in Piteå while staying connected with your global team and wider network. In this role, you will be part of a specialized and supportive global accounting team, reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, where collaboration, expertise, and a positive work environment are key to our success.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily bookkeeping and ensure accurate general ledger entries.
Handle accounts payable, including invoice processing, payments, and vendor reconciliations.
Oversee accounts receivable, manage customer invoicing, and follow up on payments.
Lead month-end and year-end closing, including preparing financial statements and reconciling bank accounts.
Prepare VAT reports and ensure compliance with Swedish tax regulations.
Process payroll for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate salary payments.
Manage expense reporting and employee reimbursements, including company credit cards.
Handle accruals, provisions, and manage fixed assets and leasing.
Act as the point of contact for financial queries from employees, customers, and vendors.
Prepare audit documentation and support internal and external audits.
Continuously improve accounting and payroll processes for greater efficiency.
Provide management with financial insights and reporting to aid in decision-making.

You are:

Are structured and capable of handling multiple responsibilities.
Have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy collaborating with others.
Work well independently but feel comfortable being part of a global team.
Are committed to improving processes and finding efficiencies.
Have experience in accounting, payroll (Visma HR), and financial reporting, preferably within Sweden.
Be fluent in both Swedish and English.
