WORLD MARITIME UNIVERSITY Malmö, Sweden Accountant (Part-time or Consultancy) The World Maritime University (WMU) was established in 1983 by the International Maritime Organization, a specialized agency of the United Nations.WMU has gained an excellent reputation as a global centre for advanced education, training and research for specialist personnel from the international maritime community.WMU offers Master of Science and PhD programmes.The University is seeking an experienced, hands-on accountant.The post's responsibilities include: control of the accounting processes preparation of reports and financial statements assistance with budgetary work preparation of final accounts.The qualifications for this post are: a professional accounting qualification (chartered accountant, certified public accountant or the equivalent) solid professional accountancy experience (at least 5 years) demonstrated ability to manage accountancy problems and issues excellent IT skills, including expertise in Microsoft Office excellent English language skills communication skills in an internationally diverse community.
