Accountant
We are looking for a competent Accountant to support our growing team and play an important role in the day-to-day accounting needs of the business. You will manage the monthly financial reporting requirements and complete all necessary reporting processes.
Key responsibilities include:
Create timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and manage overall maintenance of all operational accounts.
Have responsibility for the preparation of monthly financial reports including the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statements for the business.
Oversee and control our payroll account on Fortnox and document all vacation, sick and annual leave time taken by staff.
Preparation and submission of VAT and other statutory tax declarations while ensuring these are reflected in Fortnox correctly.
Assist the Accounts Payable function and ensure payments are made to our vendors in a timely manner.
Assist the Accounts Receivable function to ensure the invoices are created in line with all monthly services currently being sold to our Clients.
Posting of daily bank transactions to Fortnox and performing weekly bank reconciliations.
Preparing, reconciling, and posting employee expenses and ensuring that we have the relevant supporting documents for each transaction.
Ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards and their accounting recommendations.
Skills & Requirements:
Knowledge of how to do payroll and VAT declaration in Sweden is a must.
Minimum of 1-3 years work experience as an accounting or a similar role.
Degree in accounting, business accounting, finance or similar.
Specific Skills:
Effective communication skills
Able to work well with others in a team environment
Highly accurate and detail oriented
Our business language is generally English. Swedish is a highly preferred plus, and some Swedish knowledge will absolutely be needed in regards to the local reporting requirements and in communications with Skatteverket.

Add Demand is a small family-owned firm that provides administrative and accounting services to companies throughout Europe and in North America. We are currently a small team of under 10 people but are expecting to grow in portfolio and staff over the coming year.
Our office is located in Central Stockholm, at Kungsgatan 8. The salary will be fixed and employment full-time.
