We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join our Gothenburg HQ Finance team. Responsibilities

• Ongoing accounting processes for the Axel Arigato Group companies.
• Month-end closing responsibilities for the Axel Arigato Group companies.
• VAT reporting for selected countries
• Reconciliation of incoming payments from payment providers against customer transactions.
• Supporting the Junior Accountants with booking for incoming customer payments and vendor payments; reconciliation of Customer and Vendor ledgers.
• Supporting the Junior Accountants with weekly pay run
• Supporting the Accounting Manager with the annual audit for all companies and process improvement projects.
• Ensure that all financial transactions are recorded in time and follow legal requirements.
• Responsible for Balance sheet reconciliation and supporting the Accounting Manager in performing risk analysis of Balance sheets
• Responsible for liquidity forecasts and contribute to developing the company's cash management
• Involved in implementing new processes for better internal control and efficiency.

The ideal candidate

• Relevant degree in business administration or accounting
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience is a must
• SAP experience is preferable
• Positive about monthly closing processes and routines
• Solution-oriented with a methodical and structured approach to their work
• Openness to new tasks and professional development in a fast-growing company
• Fluent in English, verbal and written, is a must
• Swedish is considered a plus
