Accountant

Now we are looking for an Accountant to join our growing Accounting team. It's a broad role with a lot of varying tasks and we will give you the opportunity to grow and develop within your profession. Your work days will include monthly closing and payroll along with other tasks within accounting. The role has both internal and external collaboration aspects, for example in the development of our finance processes and assisting auditors for the preparation of financial analyses and reports.

Your Future

- Review and manage accounting records, identify, and research accounting issues, and recommend solutions.
- Participate in big part of the monthly closing tasks such as depreciations, calculation and posting of deferred and accrued expenses, VAT statements, reconciliation of balance accounts etc
- Participating in the payroll processes including expenses, holiday dept and AGI-reporting
- VAT-reporting through local VAT registrations and OSS
- Monthly EC-sales reporting in SE and NL and various SCB-reporting
- Support month-end and year-end close process and reporting
- Provide documentation to auditors
- Assist auditors as required for the preparation of financial analyses and reports.
- Develop and make current finance processes more efficient
- Independently work towards reporting deadlines


Your Past & Skills

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 3-5 years’ work experience in a similar role, eg Accountant or Senior Accountant Specialist and you feel comfortable with all aspects of monthly closing process
- Fluent in Swedish and English (spoken & written), with an excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with associates at all levels within and outside of the organisation
- Knowledge of internal controls and financial reporting according to IFRS is a big plus
- Ability to work independently and have a continuous improvement mindset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organised and attention to details
- Knowledge in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in Microsoft Navision, Tableau and Medius is a plus
- Fast learner and ability to find solutions and being creative in a fast-paced environment
