Accountant

In this role, you will cover many areas in accounting, such as Treasury function, Payable and Receivable functions. You will communicate with colleagues from other countries to apply best practise in your daily routine.
Furthermore, you will support colleagues to create and submit business trip reports, control other expenses, prepare statistical reports.
What you will do
Process foreign payments, prepare supporting documents to banks, control over the uploading bank`s statements to the accounting system
Control over payments to suppliers, control over the clearing vendor`s balances
Control over other expenses by reallocation them among reporting periods and cost elements (insurance expenses for cars, buildings, medical, life, write-off fuel expenses, canteen expenses), prepare accounting notes for these postings
Support colleagues with business trip reports, control travel expenses, supporting documents; process payments for travel to employees
Submit data of additional personal employees` income to payroll provider
Handle monthly book closing
Submit statistic reports in time
Comply with financial policies and regulations
Collect and archive supporting accounting documents
Participate in annual statutory audit

The position is based in Lund, Sweden.
We believe you have
To be successful in this role you must have exceptional integrity as you oversee financial records, and you must have strong communication skills to present detailed information in a manner that’s easy to understand. You are a self-motivated, who can easily adapt and learn new things. You must have strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
We believe you have a University degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree. You have >2 years of work experience as an Accountant.
An excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), a hands-on experience with accounting software like SAP, an experience with general ledger functions, an advanced MS Excel skills including VLookups and pivot tables.
A very good command of Ukrainian and English, both written and oral is required.
