Accountant and Payroll Administrator

Academic Work is northern Europe s largest Staffing and Recruitment Company for of students and young professionals.We are present in Sweden since 1998, in Norway since 2006 and have during 2008 established offices in Finland, Denmark and Germany.Currently we are about 20 employees in our Munich office.Academic Work is a young, dynamic and fast growing company with good career possibilities.We are currently looking to strengthen our team in Munich with an Accountant and Payroll Manager the likes to take a leading role in the future!As an Accountant and Payroll Manager you will be responsible for Academic Work's financial function in Munich.Today both accounting and invoicing are made internally from our Finance Department in Linköping/Sweden.Our salary administration is outsourced on an external partner in Munich.In the long run, we plan to take all our financial functions in-house.We offer a great opportunity to take part in the set up of a financial function and to develop and grow in this role.At the start of your employment you will be trained by our Finance Department in Sweden, in order to as soon as possible be independent in the function.In the role as our Accountant and Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for: . Establishing of month end reporting .Accounting and payment of salaries, invoices, VAT, tax and charges . Accounting, invoicing, customer - and supplier ledger and contacts with external parties. You report directly to our German country manager and to our international controller.Academic Work uses the accounting system Agresso.A payroll system can come to be purchased within a near future. Your background: . You have fulfilled your studies and you are trained within accounting and/or payroll .You have some experience from working with accounting . You are fluent in German and have a good level of both spoken and written English As person, you have the ability to plan and to organize your work well.You take responsibilities for your duties, understand and can apply businesslike principles.Furthermore, you can analyze problems and see contexts.You like teamwork and are able to create good relationships.
