Accountant for Samsung Treasury and Bank

Work description: Samsung needs to ensure that all bank accounts are reconciled without any discrepancies.The bank transactions are posted timely.That is why your job as an accountant at the Treasury and Bank department exists.You will actively report to your Finance and Accounting Manager, work closely with EHQ treasury centre in London, the Accounting Department and CFO.Your key accountabilities will be; .Manage foreign currency exposure (close cooperation with European Treasury Department in London) .Cash flow forecasting daily and monthly .Weekly management of bank loans and forward deals) .Monthly reconciliations of all bank accounts .Timely posting of all bank transactions in TR module and General Ledger .Monthly reporting to headquarters (Bank Reconciliation report to HQ, cash flow TR, cash flow report GFIS) .Main contact person bank/cash management questions with EHQ/HQ .Main contact person for Citibank and internal bank questions .Approval of payments together with Finance and Accounting Manager Work scope: It is a full time job and you will be employed by Brainpeople.The commission at Samsung will last for at least 9 months.You will thereafter work as a consultant on forthcoming similar commissions for Brainpeople. Competence: You have an academic degree in Economics/Finance/Accounting with an interest for Treasury/Financial.It is required that you have experience and consequently an understanding for a finance department and its processes.Knowledge from creating cash flow reports and handling foreign currency exposures is also preferable.Samsung works in SAP (TR module) and your understanding for the system will ease your inception.
