Economic Assistant

What you would do as our Economic Assistant
Within this role, you will have an overall responsibility to handle all stages of the everyday activities of the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. This involves securing all bank transaction, handling the online electronic invoice circulations system, Intra Group reconciliations within the Netting and customer contact are tasks of this position. You will also support the Financial controller during the closing with account reconciliations and also other administrational tasks during the month.
The role reports to the Finance Manager of ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems Distribution AB.
You will also:
Secure everyday reconciliation and bookings of customer and supplier payments on all of the company´s bank accounts.
Secure data reading, circulation and transferring supplier invoices to the ERP system.
Issue, register, sign (together with Finance Manager) and run payment of supplier invoices in the ERP system.
Reconcile all intragroup invoices in the online Netting system and follow through in the ERP system.
Sell EUR and GBP in the Netting
Issue manual invoices/credit notes when requested by the Finance controller.
Credit limit monitoring. Payment reminders to customers, customer contact.
Match supplier invoices in the ERP system.
Support order department with payment information when placing new orders to risk customers.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous hands-on experience as an economic assistant or a in similar role
Has a Finance-related educational background
Is fluent in both Swedish and English, verbally and in writing
Preferably has good understanding of ERP (Infor Baan would be beneficial) and Medius
Is customer-minded and has attention to detail and accuracy”
