Norstedts Juridik is now looking for a dedicated Accountant. As an accountant you become part of an international accounting function, with employees in Denmark and Sweden. In this role, you will have the responsibility for several companies, but you will primarily have to handle bookkeeping for Swedish companies. You have the option to work either from our office in Copenhagen or Stockholm. You refer to the accounting manager in Denmark.

This role includes:

- Accounts receivable management - creation, dunning, bookkeeping, invoicing and reconciliation of intra-group debtors
- Accounts payable management - creation, payment, bookkeeping, reconciliations etc.
- Clearance of accounts - preparation of reconciliations, specifications,
- VAT - VAT reconciliation, reporting to tax authorities
- Bookkeeping in holding companies
- Posting of payroll (payroll is outsourced) and reconciliation of payroll items


We use the programs Salesforce, Balancer, SAP and E-conomic, therefore knowledge of this will be an advantage but not a requirement.

You have a relevant accounting background and have experience from a similar position. You thrive on taking responsibility for your own tasks and are good at meeting deadlines while being detail-oriented in your task solution. As a person you are open, positive and collaborative.

The Finance function
The finance department covers all finance functions from bookkeeping, invoice management, external reporting to assisting managers in strategic decisions making. The finance department is flexible, functions efficiently, is innovative and ensures all numbers are delivered with excellence. The finance department follows the company’s mission to enable the customers to make better decisions, faster.

The group finance team consists of 19 professional individuals of which 4 are located in Stockholm, Sweden and 15 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Business Intelligence, group reporting, consolidation, cash management and corporate tax are managed centrally from Copenhagen.

This is a full-time position, based in either the office in Stadshagen, Stockholm or the office at Sankt Petri Passage, Copenhagen. It is a temporary position due to a parental leave within the team estimated for approx. 12 months.
