About the role

The Finance team at Lifesum is a lean and productive team managing all aspects of Finance at Lifesum. The team is collaborating daily with the HR & Office team to make Lifesum’s growth journey as smooth and efficient as possible for all employees and stakeholders.

As part of the Finance team, we are now looking for a structured individual who loves numbers and accounting. It’s also great if you have an interest in technology and food. The Accountant will report to the Accounting & Finance Manager at Lifesum.

Responsibilities and what you will do

- Manage Lifesum Accounts receivable, both B2C and B2B
- Manage the booking of marketing expenses each monthly closing and partner with the marketing team to ensure accurate reporting
- Support the Accounting & Finance Manager in the month- and year-end closing processes/reconciliation
- Ensure accuracy and quality in accounting and reporting as well as securing correct and timely VAT and tax reporting
- Support the Accounting & Finance Manager with the work on the annual reports and audit process together with our auditor
- Implement best practices, actively participate in improvement initiatives to standardize processes and controls
- Handle the day-to-day contact with the external accounting firm, both in Sweden (Lifesum AB) and the U.S. ( Lifesum Inc)


Are you the one we're looking for?

To be successful in this role, we think that you have:

- A bachelor or master's degree in a relevant area or similar (eg. ‘YH-utbildning’)
- At least 1 year of professional experience within relevant areas
- Fluency in Swedish and English
- Hands-on experience in accounting software and good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Good understanding of the P&L and balance sheet
- Strong ability to collaborate with other departments such as Marketing, Product, and Engineering
