Accountant to Acne Studios in Paris

Acne Studios is a Swedish based fashion company with a global reach that sells its products through 650 retailers in more than 40 countries and more than 40 concept stores located in Paris, London, New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Stockholm, Melbourne, among others. It is a fast growing company with a yearly turnover of roughly 180 MEUR. The headquarters are located in the Old Town in Stockholm, and employs around 120 people. Apart from the Stockholm office, Acne Studios operates offices in Paris, New York, Oslo, Tokyo and Copenhagen.

Arbetsbeskrivning

As Accountant for Acne Studios you will be engaged in accounting and financial reporting and be part of a highly qualified Finance team. You will be responsible for the French subsidiary within the Acne Studios. The role includes contacts, both internally across the Group and externally with suppliers as well as audit and accounting firms involved in our subsidiaries. You will also have a major role from an accounting and financial perspective in the further development of Microsoft Dynamics AX in France. The position is full-time. The position is based at Acne Studios Paris office and reports to the Head of Global Accounting in Stockholm, Sweden.

Your tasks will include but not be limited to:

• Direct responsibility for the day-to-day accounting i.e. general ledger entries, cash report reconciliation internal and external support, closing and reporting
• Accounting and controlling of expense reports
• Payroll accounting
• Perform accounts payable (A/P) activities
• Make sure accounting and reporting policies are followed
• Prepare internal monthly and yearly reports and analyses and assist the auditors
• Ensure timely and accurate close of sub-ledgers
• Improve the internal monthly reporting process and policies
• VAT reporting
• Support the global Finance team regarding ad hoc analyses and proactive work to continually develop our systems and processes

Vem är du?

• A university degree in business administration, majoring in accounting
• 3-5 years of professional experience as an Accountant
• Experience from reporting to entity foreign parent company
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Positive "can-do" attitude with the ability to work independently
• Strong planning and social skills
