About the assignment and Financial group
For the assignment you will join the accounting department (Financial Control and Accounting) within a well-known organization in the automotive sector, they are responsible for financial compliance in all legal entities. Financial compliance is defined as meeting all statutory requirements and internal requirements as described in policies, directives and in Financial Policies and Procedures (FPP).
Financial Control and Accounting (FCA) secures financial compliance in all legal entities in close cooperation with relevant stakeholders through the FCA responsible and the Chief Accountant roles. FCA also manages the local tax administration and local treasury related tasks in accordance with directions and approvals from Corporate Functions. FCA reviews the legal entity finance and is proactive regarding risk management while securing adherence to Policies, directives and instructions.
Your responsibilities will be to:
* Ensure that salaries and compensations, social expenses including pensions are posted in the legal entity in accordance with IFRS and Swedish GAAPIndependently analyzing the payroll & pension accounting for the legal entity in order to support stakeholders
* Lead assigned parts of the improvement work of the accounting processes for Payroll & Pension in order to increase effectiveness
* Provide the notes for provisions for pensions and similar commitments and personal costs to the annual report
* Prepare parts of the income tax return relating to payroll and pensions
* Prepare monthly tax return and ensure that payroll taxes and withholding taxes are paid on time
Required education and experience:
* Academic bachelor degree in accounting
* Experience in Accounting
* Good knowledge of IFRS and Swedish GAAP is meritorious
* Experience in SAP
* Proficiency in Swedish and English both verbal and written
