As part of the Operational Accounting Department and Global Finance Function, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the timely and accurate delivery of financial information for any of the legal entities in Occlutech.

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for executing accounting-related activities, such as journal voucher postings, asset and project-related accounting, financial closing-related activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and VAT and tax reconciliations, all while adhering to Local GAAP and IFRS standards. You will also be a superuser in the corresponding tools and applications and will actively promote efficient processes and ways of working.

We are looking for a proactive and solution-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, the ability to create good relations, and the capacity to act in various environments and cultures.

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Economics or Business Administration or equivalent, at least 3 years of experience as an Accountant or similar, a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and principles, and a strong practice in bookkeeping. Additionally, you should have a strong communication skills in the English language, in both oral and written and be well-versed in ERP tools and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook). As an Accountant at Occlutech, you will have the opportunity to participate in the implementation of new processes, procedures, and tools, support during the forecast and budget process, and promote a service-oriented team approach within the Cluster. In addition, you will act as a backup to the Financial Controller role for critical tasks and to the Accountant team.
