Group function Reporting and Accounting at Skanska's Headquarters in Stockholm is looking for a person who has gained a couple of years of experience within accounting and wants to keep on developing in a large international company. As an Accountant you are a part of the Accounting team who is responsible for Skanska Financial Services (SFS) and Skanska AB´s legal accounts. Currently the team consists of five persons situated in Stockholm, all reporting to Head of Accounting.

Skanska AB is Skanska Group´s parent company meanwhile SFS is the internal bank. The SFS Group consists of four companies, including an insurance company and one entity in the USA.

Job description

As an Accountant you are an important part of the monthly closing as well as the follow ups for Skanska AB & SFS. You are responsible of reconciliations of GL accounts, current accounting, reconciliation of intercompany balances within Skanska Group and yearly reporting to the Swedish FSA (Solvency II). You are part in the preparation of annual reports as well as in preparation for auditors and forecast/budgeting-reporting within Skanska HQ. Further, you are involved in the budgeting process and the improvement of finance related processes and routines of our organization. Assisting with the review of cross border transactions, ensuring compliance with Transfer Pricing procedures is also a part of position.

Your Profile

We believe that the ideal candidate for this role has a couple of years of experience in accounting in combination with a great interest in continuing to develop and successively take on more and more qualified tasks. University degree in accounting, business or equivalent and good communication-skills in English is required. Experience from audit or from a larger international organization is particularly interesting to us but most important is who you are. And of course, you are a confident user of financial systems and Excel.

As a person you have a proactive mindset, analytical skills and a strong will to learn and develop. You are structured and able to plan and prioritize in an efficient manner. Your curiosity and your social skills will make you successful in this role. Since the Accounting team is working closely together, we are looking for a solutions-oriented person with a positive attitude and good collaboration skills.
