Accountant to Skanska Infrastructure Development, Stockholm
Skanska Infrastructure Development (ID) is looking for a temporary replacement for one of our accountants who will be on maternity leave for approximately one year, starting around September. The accounting team consists of five people working close together with the accounting and reporting of Skanska ID. We undertake the accounting for all the Swedish companies but we also consolidate and report the entire Skanska ID group.
Job summary
Skanska ID is an international business unit within Skanska with entities in Sweden, the UK and the US. We are looking for an accountant to join our team in Stockholm. The role includes general financial reporting and accounting.
Main duties and responsibilities
We are looking for someone who will:
-compile the monthly reports for Skanska ID AB
-consolidate the monthly reports for ID Group
-manage the accounting of our time reporting
-work with the accounting in our invest-companies
-support our Project Development Nordics entity during the quarterly forecasts
-be responsible for parts of the accounting of ID AB, for example accruals
-compile personnel related information for the year end reporting for ID group
-reconcile internal balances both within ID and with SFS
-be involved in the ID group consolidation and reporting of ID group in HFM
-compile information and statistics required by SCB
Additional duties and responsibilities
As part of the accounting team you will also be involved in various other tasks, for example:
-reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
-preparation of documentation to and dialogue with the auditors
-be involved in quarterly reporting and forecasting
-drive improvement processes in financial administration
-improvement of our financial systems for consolidation and forecasting, HFM and Hyperion Planning
You will have an extensive network and close contact with accounting teams in UK and the US, as well as the project development teams in the Nordics.
Your background
You have a bachelor?s degree in accounting or other academic qualifications. You should also have at least three years of work experience from accounting. You must be able to communicate and write reports in both Swedish and English so fluency in these languages is mandatory.
We believe you like working as part of a team and are able to communicate effectively with people in different countries and at different levels in the organization.
